Blue Skidoo, Jen Can Too!

So much for the "almost daily updates". I lied. Anyways, busy busy busy lately. I took on the responsibility of assisting Danielle and Marissa with their AP Euro final project which they chose to make a movie for. Any one who knows me well enough knows that making stupid movies is a past time of mine. I went out and bought a sick Sony harddrive video camera and burned $542 doing such, so worth it though, I love it to pieces. Oh yeah and I also had to spend 100 bucks on a new video editing software because the camera outputs mpeg 2 videos which isnt supported by the free stuff. I love pretending I have money!
A quick plot summary of the movie: Marissa, Danielle and I are high school students studying for our art history final in a museum. I am not prepared at all and I jokingly suggest that we should be able to skidoo into paintings like in Blue's Clues and just talk to the artists themselves. Danielle then hits me and knocks me out and her and Marissa leave the museum while I'm unconscious on the floor. A dream sequence then begins and I wake up in new clothes( so I look like Steve from Blue's Clues) and I'm able to skidoo into a bunch of paintings and I then talk to a few artists and all that. Ultimately, I get an A on the test and the terrible friends who left me at the museum fail.
Filming has been a very aggrivating process so far, but it's pretty fun. It's not even my project and I'm doing 70% of the work, I love that. I do school work when I"m not in school and I could care less about my own classes during the semester. We've mainly just been filming at our houses but yesterday morning we all went to the public library really early to film the opening scene which takes place in the museum, since the upper level of the library is an art gallery. We even got a security guard to be in it which was really funny. I'll most likely upload it to youtube when it's finished within the next 2 weeks.
Evan and I are going to see the new Indiana Jones movie tomorrow night, I'm so excited. Him and I have been watching the first 3 this week to refresh our memories. I used to pretend I was Indiana Jones when I was little, I have an authentic hat which cost my parents quite a bit of money, rugged adventure wear and I carried a jumprope in my belt loop as my whip. I was tough...things haven't changed at all ;) Anyways, things with Evan are going really well, I really like him. I haven't been this happy in quite a long time so hooray for that!!
I guess that's all for now. It's almost June already, yikes.

Happy Happy Happy!

Hi! Ok almost daily updates now, I promise! So school has been officially over since last week and I got my grades back the other day ; History of Modern Art- A, Introduction to Ecology - B+, American Heritage 1-A, Fundamentals of Acting- A- (got lazy and didnt do the last play review, oh well), Elementary Spanish - A, College Algebra - A....GPA = 3.83, .03 points higher than the fall semester, yay! haha glad thats over with. Hello summer :)

American Idol season finale is next weeeek! Ahh I'm so excited. We're having an Idol bash at my house Tuesday night (it'll be like a 5 person "bash"...oh man watch out!) so if you wanna come just tell me! Danielle and Marissa are definitely coming, Evan really doesn't want to because he despises American Idol (tell me again how this relationship is going to work?? :P ) but he'll be there! haha and then I think my mom's friend(s) may stop by. Speaking of Idol...guess what I just ordered....4 tickets to the tour in August! My mom, brother Mike, Danielle, and I are going and I'm so freaking excited. August is going to be awesome between the Idol tour and going to see Gary just a few days later in Philadelphia. Happy happy happy :)
Andrew and I decided the other day that we're going to make a youtube show one of these days. We have yet to decide on a name or a concept (with the exception of one scene we planned out) but this just gives me an excuse to waste all my money on a nice video camera! Any donations will be gladly accepted !

It's over!

Hey guys, wow sorry I'm really slacking on this whole blogging thing. My classes really got the best of me this past week so I've had very little time to myself. But I don't have to worry about that happening anymore...CLASSES ARE OVER! WOOOOO. I only have 3 finals to take which all should be somewhat easy. So hooray for me being a college sophomore at 17 years old! haha.

I'm finally getting a new cell phone soon. I'm ordering it in a few minutes so it should be here by the end of the week. Same number and all that jazz, just now I'll have a Blackberry Pearl instead of my Razr that has given me hell since last year when I got it. My Razr likes to turn off randomly and reset itself often and that's always a good time so thankfully it is being replaced.
I have a lot to talk about in this entry since I'm behind a week or so. Last Wednesday on campus was Spring Fling - just a little hang out thing in the Quad during Common Hour. Though it is one of my days off during the week I had to go to school and help out with my acting class since an elementary school was coming to the college. My friend Joe and I had the worst kids ever. They were 3rd graders and they were just maniacs. Working with them cemented my decision to not have kids. No joke, haha. Anyway, after attempting improvs and other games witht hem, a few of the guys from class and myself went to the Spring Fling thing as it was beginning. Right away we grabbed some bbq food and then we spotted this blow up obstacle course where you can race someone so my friend John and I raced first, then I raced Carlee, and then I raced James twice. It was much harder than it looked! I was exhausted by the end and I was graced with a battle wound on my elbow from a loose piece of velcro that I rubbed my arm on while climbing. After that fun adventure, Evan met up with us and we decided to go over to the Campus Crusade for Christ table. Me, John, and Carlee decided to do this activity where they put 3 gumballs in a styrofoam bowl and covered it with whipped cream and the objective was to get all 3 gumballs just using your mouth and then blow a bubble. Sounds easy right? HAH god it was so hard haha. Once I finally found the gumballs I couldnt blow a bubble cause the whipped cream blended with the gum. Gross. John won, I pretty much came in second, and who knows what the hell Carlee was doing haha. We all were so gross and Evan stuck around to watch which was nice :) After that I went home. And yeah... haha There are only a few days where I really love my school and that was one of those days.

The next day (Last Thursday) I went into the city with my step brother's fiance Shannon to celebrate her birthday so we saw a show and after we went out to dinner and ordered over $60 worth of food between the two of us. Keep in mind that our combined weight is barely over 200 pounds haha. It was a good time.

And I look extremely attractive in that picture! Anyways, so after dinner we were catching the 12:19 am train back to Manhasset where Zack (my step-brother) was picking us up. While waiting around by the LIRR board Shannon all of a sudden says "Look it's Tailor Made!" (from I Love New York 2 ) and it was him! He looked so nervous and scared it was hysterical. We followed him around the station for a few minutes and by the t ime we were going to ask him for a picture we lost h im in the crowd.
This past weekend was eh, I went to my Dads house and just got in some good relaxing time. Nothing really eventful happened. Well I guess that's all! I promise to update more often since now I know people actually read this and I'm getting yelled at for not updating enough! haha. Until next time...
I'm really looking forward
